VSJ
Pumps are portable and no installation work. As soon as the
impeller is submerged, the pumps are ready to work. They
can handle fresh water, water heavily contaminated with sand,
gravel and sludge. The pumps can work unattended when fitted
with level controllers.

| CONSTRUCTION
FEATURES :- |
VERTICAL
MONO BLOCK TYPE DESIGN
The heavy-duty shaft is mounted on two extra heavy bearings for minimum
defection. Entire rotating assembly is dynamically balanced and impeller
is hydraulically balanced to reduce axial thrust on bearings, thereby
preventing vibration to a minimum level. The discharge being axially
upward there is no unbalanced load on the sides. These Drain Pumps have
a solid base plate, which prevents upsets and guards against the pump
digging itself into hole.

DUAL
PROTECTION AGAINST WATER LEAKAGE:
Pumps are fitted with two independent mechanical seals for dual protection
against pump failure. The lower seal prevents water from entering the
seal chamber. The upper seal provides additional protection to the motor
against water seepage, in spite of the failure of the lower seal. PVC
insulated winding wires also protect the motor in case of water seepage.

| COOLING
APRANGEMENT :- |
|
|
Cooling
of the motor has been given top priority in the design
of these pump sets, thereby making them capable of
continuous operation for long time.
|
|
|
The
entire Pump and Motor bodies are made of best quality
aluminum alloys up to 10 HP Model having very high
heat conductivity.
|
|
|
The
Pump discharged liquid flows through the annular space
between the motor body and the outer jacket thus absorbing & dissipating
the heat generated by the motor.
|
|
|
Both
the motor chamber and the seal chamber being oil filled
rapid cooling of the motor is assured. The oil also
lubricates the bearing and the seal faces, while the
pump is working.

|
HIGH
PRESSURE ZONE :-
Submersible drains pumps are specially designed to create automatically
a high pressure zone inside the motor for preventing any leakage water
entering the inside of the motor while operating the pump set . |
CORROSION
PREVENTION :-
All components of the submersible drain pumps are treated with anti-corrosive
coat. Stainless steel hellicoils are used for fasteners. |
EASE
OF MAINTENANCE :-
The impeller and diffuser can be inspected for wear/tear or replaced easily
by removing the few bolts on the cover. |
LUBRICATION
:-
Oil in the motor chamber provides complete lubrication to the upper and
lower motor bearing and the mechanical seal faces, the pump mechanical
seal is lubricated by the oil in seal chamber, giving extra long working
life and reducing down time. |

AGITATOR
AND INJECTOR :-
To prevent sedimentation of the suspended solids on the bottom of the pit
and to help the pump drain out even the thick and non-homogenous fluids,
agitators and injectors are very useful. |
CONTROL
PANEL :-
Control panels consisting of extra thick fabricated box containing original
instruments like voltmeter, Ammeter, indicating lamp, on-off switches,
single phase preventor etc, all connected by heavy duty wiring. |
